Last night was the Embassy Dinner. I don’t even know what road it was on, but it was really like a little piece of Singapore in the middle on Laos.
Malaysia was having a dinner in their embassy down the road in a rather tatty looking building, albeit much larger than ours.
The food was… Left wanting.
The entertainment was… Godawful.
The speakers were… Political.
The company was… Fake – everyone milling around, trying to impress. It was far from a Black Tie, but everyone was more stiff than an Englishman in a top hat.
When they said (or rather, when they say tonight) that it was a Sea of Red (and I know tihs because I voiced it), it truly was. I’ve never seen so many people in the same thing! Actually, I lie. There’s National Day. But… This was different! It was a bit scary.
Anyway, photos from last night before I go into detail about the past few days…

The coke came after a lil white wine, hence the flushed face when taking a shot with two of the Wushu Trio
